Birthday Girl.

Hadn’t really thought about celebrating my birthday this year. No particular reason, just didn’t know what I’d do besides enjoying a nice dinner with Yong. The idea of dancing the night away was suggested last night and before I knew it I was inviting folks to one of our favorite lounges in Santa Monica.

I’ll probably put something similar to this together, maybe exactly this. Fun and comfy. Yong surprised me with the shoes yesterday (!!), after I raved about them when I saw this post from Delmy. I’ve been on a shoe buying strike because I’ve been saving up for a special gift for myself. Can we say “awesome boyfriend”? Yes, yes we can.

Dressing Up As: Wedding Guest

Yong and I are attending a wedding this weekend (he’s is actually a groomsman!). We’ve known about the date of the wedding for well over a year. I didn’t slack a minute in looking for something to wear to the grand event, but for some reason or another it took me almost the entire year to find something I was happy with. I’m finally almost done. The shoes should arrive today, and God willing… they won’t kill me. Luckily I have an older pair of Marni’s I can use as a substitute if they do. Back up plans, people!
