More Paint?

Yes, more paint.

Some of you may know what our situation with this house is, most aren’t sure. Let’s just say its a very special situation. For the last six months we’ve had a guest staying in the front half of the house and as of yesterday afternoon he has officially moved out. Which means what? Yes, we’ve officially moved in! Six months later.

We choose to remain enthusiastic. Here are some pictures of the extra space we just inherited.

Orange as far as the eye can see. So once again the first order of business is paint. We’ll be continuing our gray walls onto this space. I’m still searching for the perfect curtains/fabric to drape on the windows. The wood on the closet, linen cabinet, bookcase/media center and window bench will all be painted the same color as the walls so as to unify the entire space. This will become our official living room as well as my permanent workspace.

The space that currently houses our ‘living room’ will become our dining room, and our dining room table will make room for a much needed island with butcher block top. I’ll be able to post more pictures of the overall space since everything will be moved to more permanent spaces.
